It was a late Friday evening, and Reno and his party was the last in the hall. He didn't expect someone else to walk down into the dimmed basement of Roxas's restaurant though, knowing it was after hours and he was there by friendly connections.

Ever since the thin figure with extraordinary red hair walked in, he couldn't tear his eyes away. Something about him was so magnetic, and just wondering what that something was whet Reno's appetite. He watched him from the table he was at, observing the alluring male like a lab specimen as the redhead stranger walked around to one of the pool tables at the opposite end of the room.

He examined and fiddled around with the slender cues that were sitting in their wooden hold before resuming his wandering around the lone pool table, letting his long fingers sooth against the felt and outer edges.

"Yo, Reno, it's your turn."

Reno tore his eyes away and back to the game in front of him. He grabbed his cue, and made a show of heckling his opponent before settling back into the game. He flicked his hair back over his shoulders, taking in the current layout of the table before easing his body down.

Then he noticed, from the corner of his eye, the stranger watching him as he pulled the cue back along his body. With a smirk and one fluid motion of his steady arm, he aimed the white ball at the red '13', sinking it in easily at the corner pocket. Satisfied, he got back up, taking in the positions of his striped pool balls, as well as another glance of the silent male that was standing two meters away.

He couldn't help but show off. He ran the table like it was cakewalk, not hesitating to tease and humiliate his blond opponent and earning a laugh from his other coworkers. Reno smirked, stealing sideways glimpse of the male.

He must see something he really likes, Reno thought, and if I'm lucky, it's not pool.

After taking a long swag of his drink, Reno limbered up, doing exaggerated stretches as he bent back over the table to sink in the remaining '8' ball. Before he sank it in, he made sure the man was still watching.

The black ball rolled, and dropped into the side pocket.

After a round of applauses, name-calling, and bet-fulfillment, Reno's coworkers left at his rather blatant hints for "alone time".

Reno knew how to play the game, in and out of the pool hall. Instead of walking straight towards the enticing stranger, i'll let him walk to me.

And as if on cue, the man had walked over, green eyes scanning both the table and the man before him.

"That's some game you played there," the male commented, leaning back against the table.

"Thanks," Reno grinned, replacing his cue. "Name's Reno."

His hand was grasped in the stranger's own, and Reno unconsciously licked his lips. The other redhead didn't seem to notice.

"Axel," he replied. Reno repeated his name, tasting it, testing it out. He smirked. "I haven't tried pool before. Would you teach me?"

Reno held onto his Cheshire grin, his teal eyes flashing in a victory spark. The game was just far too easy.

Oh man, okay, this isn't really my best lines, because the lack of background makes it yucky, and this perspective was fucking difficult to do (ref here:[link]), and there are so many mistakes, but I'm too restless to fix...this angers me, but fuck, something about these two guys make me tingle XDDD
