I really wish there would've been something similar to this in the game. I feel like Axel should've fought harder to keep Roxas there, made him realize how selfish he was being.

The flames are extremely realistic to the point of transparency at the top, which is wonderful. Despite the typical 'fanart' style, the blood and cuts are very well portrayed, and give the scene gravity that the actual game sequence lacks. Very rarely does one single picture tell such a complete story like this one does.
I love the depth provided by the windows and pillars that stretch on into the background, like the effect created by a sudden zoom-in sequence in a film.
I also really like how Roxas's hair is pushed aside by Axel's face as he kisses him. Gives a much more soft, lifelike look to Roxas's usually gravity-defying spikes.
