I WANT MORE. Sorry. That is the best I can say. Not am art expect but (other then the fact it looks a little unrealistic because I can't see Axel and Roxas any other way) this is AWESOME. Still... I think their skin is a bit too smooth and the clock tower behind them... could you use more colors in it? As for the whole story, Pirate captain (black king) raids city. A king's subordinate (White Knight) tries to stop him. Pirate likes his guts so kidnaps him when he's asleep. That's where I see this going... plus a LOT of swearing on Roxas part and flirting on Axel's.... not that that's any different really. I think that you've done a great job and I love the shadows in the bags and the cracks in the would. The iron seems like it could be a little shinier and less dull and the back ground could use more of base colors with orange as the lighting but other then that, I'm having trouble making this a 100 word account! This is just too awesome for words!
... and I'm RARELY speechless... You tend to do that too me a lot.
I just.. wow. Why are you asking for a Critique again? I seriously can't find a flaw in here, either that or you just cast a spell on me because you're one of my favorite artists on DA. Anyways, to the picture. The neutral color tones really blend in with the brighter view of the background, which is must I comment brilliant, you can feel the pressure and mood from just the coloring layered in place! It really makes it even. By even, I mean that considering Roxas is a knight and Axel is a pirate, these two have way different views on life and distinguishing battling methods. The mysterious coloring and added fog makes it a win/lose/win/lose situation, because you don't know who is going to win and it makes you excited and think about who will. This is my opinion at least. With all your other drawings of this particular pairing, despite it not being affectionate and romantic, this really goes well. I can see this happening, minus the awesome outfit. You can feel the intensity between them by the determined expressions on this faces, well Roxas looks more determined, Axel is all "Oh yeah, I got this", which by the way fits both their personality. I always loved how you stuck to their canon personalities, just thought I would throw that out there. Now, I am not dissing you on ANY of your artwork in the LEAST, but you have definitely improved on the blurring/shading, especially on the shadows raying from the ropes. It gives a wonderful, and realistic, touch to see it on the faces of these two amazing nobodys. It's not excessively blurred or caked on, so it's not eerie to the eyes and I really enjoy this piece of yours. Let's see.. What else... One sentence of advice... Just keep up the great work and keep those feels and effort of heart into your drawings always, that's mostly why I love them, because I know you too, love them as much as everyone else. Don't let anyone else tell you other-wise. You're a very talented woman with a unique style and it's great to see you going at it still!
